Job summary

CAREERNEXUS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Electrical Design Engineer with 4–5 years of experience to design power systems for construction and infrastructure projects.

You will plan migrations and equipment modifications for new and existing systems, and prepare review drawings and specifications using CAD tools. You will ensure compliance with codes and project requirements, collaborate with consultants and contractors, and support installation, testing, and commissioning to verify system

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4 - 5 years of relevant electrical system design experience in the civil construction industry (e.g. substations, HT power systems, marine or government infrastructure projects).
• Experience in system migration & integration for FC / generators.
• Must have experience in Electrical CAD Tools.

Responsibilities

• Design power systems for construction and infrastructure projects, including generator sets, frequency converters and HT systems.
• Plan and design system migration and equipment modification works for new and existing systems.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, single line diagrams and design specifications using electrical CAD tools.
• Make sure all electrical designs follow relevant codes, standards and project requirements.
• Work closely with consultants, contractors and the project team on design queries and technical issues.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning to make sure systems work as designed.
