Job summary

CAREERNEXUS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an electrical design engineer to design power and electrical systems for large-scale projects, including HT supply, generators and frequency converters.

You will migrate and integrate existing systems, draw up and check electrical drawings with CAD tools, ensure compliance with codes, and coordinate with consultants on design changes while providing on-site support during installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4–5 years of relevant electrical system design experience in civil construction (substations, HT power systems, marine or government infrastructure).
• Experience in system migration & integration for FC/generators.
• Experience in Electrical CAD Tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the design of power and electrical systems, covering HT supply, generators and frequency converters.
• Design the migration, integration and modification of existing power systems onto new equipment.
• Draw up and check electrical drawings and technical specifications with electrical CAD tools.
• Check that all designs meet the required codes, standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors on design changes and technical queries.
• Provide design support on site during installation, testing and commissioning.
