Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to lead design and supervision of large-scale power infrastructure projects in Singapore. You will coordinate cross-disciplinary engineering activities, evaluate specifications and ensure on-time deliverables.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience in power generation or related industries, strong CAD skills, and the ability to travel overseas for site support as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in power generation, diesel engines, generators, marine, shipping, automation, oil and gas.
• Strong ability to coordinate across mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Experience in engineering design, technical solution development and project execution.
• Proficient with 2D/3D CAD software and ability to interpret schematics and datasheets.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical and electrical engineering activities for power infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish technical requirements and scope.
• Develop and coordinate designs for integrated mechanical and electrical systems.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, schematics and datasheets.
• Perform engineering calculations and design evaluations for performance and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and manufacturing teams.
• Oversee engineering activities through procurement and documentation approval.
• Provide on-site support during installation, testing and commissioning.
• Conduct design reviews and implement improvements for reliability.
• Support supplier development and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on engineering technologies and standards.
• Travel overseas for on-site support when required.
