Job summary

Keppel Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an Operations Technical Officer to operate the power plant and support project teams in meeting contractual and safety requirements.

You will start, load, unload and shut down plant systems while monitoring performance from the control room. The role involves recording operating data, coordinating with maintenance crews, implementing CMMS practices, and ensuring compliance with HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher National Diploma or Certificate in engineering discipline with relevant experience.
• NTC 2/certified boiler attendant.
• Minimum 5 years operation experience in Combined Cycle Power Plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate the power plant according to procedures and requirements including starting, loading, unloading and shutting down the complete plant and systems.
• Monitor, control and adjust plant operations from the control room DCS.
• Record plant operating data and report defects and abnormalities.
• Assist in implementing CMMS for efficient operation and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental practices and regulatory requirements.
