Job summary

SEARCHASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned Mechanical Maintenance Lead to oversee the power plant’s maintenance, ensuring safe and reliable operations. You will spearhead scheduled inspections, enforce SOPs, and guide a team to deliver high standards of performance.

You will coordinate PM/CM programs, optimize maintenance during overhauls, supervise contract works, and develop procurement and technical specs to meet maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience in power plant or related process plants.
• Proven leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mechanical Maintenance Department.
• Perform scheduled plant inspections according to maintenance regime, SOPs, and in a safe, compliant manner.
• Coordinate all Mechanical Maintenance programmes (PM & CM).
• Manage and optimize all planned plant/equipment maintenance during minor and major overhauls and inspections.
• Troubleshoot faults, perform failure analysis, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Study, evaluate and implement plant improvement projects to enhance reliability, availability and performance.
• Execute approved plant improvement works.
• Supervise maintenance contract works and prepare work procedures for maintenance activities.
• Prepare technical specifications for equipment parts and services; manage procurement to meet maintenance needs.
