Job summary

US MNC is seeking a Sales Engineer (Power Engines/Engine Parts) to drive technical sales and account management for engines, gensets and power generation solutions in Singapore. You will develop relationships with customers, understand requirements, and propose suitable products and applications.

The role involves collaboration with Engineering, Sales and Supply Chain, travel for customer visits, and ongoing market feedback to support product improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of sales experience in industrial products.
• Experience in engines, gensets or power-generation products.
• Ability to understand technical specs and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with existing customers, dealers, distributors and business partners.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable engine parts, gensets and power generation products/solutions.
• Follow up on existing accounts, identify replacement, upgrade and repeat-order opportunities, and grow account revenue.
• Provide technical and commercial support on product selection, applications, quotations and proposals.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Sales, Supply Chain and other internal teams to support customer requirements and order fulfilment.
• Maintain regular customer engagement and provide timely follow-up on enquiries, quotations and ongoing opportunities.
• Monitor account activities, sales pipeline and forecasts, and maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
• Support product presentations, customer visits, trade events and technical discussions where required.
• Keep updated on market conditions, customer needs, product applications and competitor activities.
• Provide feedback from customers and the market to internal teams to support product and service improvements.
