Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in civil engineering, computer science, electrical/computer engineering, robotics or related field.
• Experience in computer vision, deep learning, 3D reconstruction, multimodal sensing, LiDAR processing or infrastructure monitoring.
• Familiarity with ML, large language models, AI agents and data integration is important.
• Proficiency in Python and C++, and experience with ML frameworks and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in computer vision, ML, LLMs, AI agents and 3D reconstruction for infrastructure digitalization.
• Develop methods for multimodal sensing, semantic extraction and digital twin integration.
• Perform experiments in lab/field, publish outputs, and support students with collaborations.
