Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) seeks an experienced Material Planning Leader to oversee planning, forecasting and inventory control of all materials for the FAB. You will lead a team of planning executives and partner with FAB stakeholders to ensure material availability and efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor of Engineering and 10+ years in supply chain planning, with strong skills in Excel, Oracle, SAP and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent required.
• Preferably 10+ years in Supply Chain Planning.
• Experience in leading and managing a team.
• Knowledge of material planning and risk monitoring is beneficial.

Responsible for the Planning, Forecast, and Inventory Control of all Materials required by the FAB

Job Description

• To lead and manage a team of planning executives
• Responsible for the Planning, Forecast and Control of Materials (Substrate, Indirect Materials – Bulk & Spec Gases, Chemicals, Resists, Targets, FAB Consumables) for the semiconductor processes
• To plan / maintain the Inventory Management System through auto MRP
• To address the non-conformance material issue with all stakeholders
• To monitor Inventory closely to prevent wastages and ensure no shortages or outages
• Provide relevant information about products, manufacturers and markets related to raw materials
• Support in the Procurement process of Materials
• To coordinate with FAB stakeholders on new materials qualifications
• Participating in Supplier Performance Evaluation
• Participating in Risk Mitigation, Crisis Management and Business Continuity Plan activities
• Responsible for Internal and External Audit of Material Planning processes and ensure compliance
• Demonstrate leadership capability to guide and mentor new material planner
• Drive continuous improvement and planning process enhancements
• To handle ad-hoc planning responsibility as needed

Job Requirements

• Degree holder (Bachelor of Engineering or Equivalent)
• Preferably min 10 years and above experience in Supply Chain Planning
• Related experience in Material Planning will be an added advantage
• Experience in leading and managing a team
• Good understanding on Supply Risk Monitoring: Geopolitics, trade restrictions, force majeure events, logistics disruptions and supplier market intelligence
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Soft skills (Microsoft Excel, Words, Power point, Oracle, SAP, Power BI, Python) is an added advantage
