Job summary

SimCorp APAC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our APAC team in Singapore/HK/Sydney. The role focuses on configuring and delivering compelling demonstrations, scoping solutions, and solving complex client challenges across portfolio management workflows and related platform topics.

You will work with Sales and internal teams to tailor demonstrations, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and ensure high-quality PoCs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of FinTech experience with exposure to portfolio management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Sound understanding of financial markets and investment processes.
• Foundational technical knowledge (APIs, data workflows) and familiarity with multi-asset assets.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; able to clarify complex concepts.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain internal demo environment for client demonstrations.
• Assist in responding to RFPs/RFIs and prepare tailored solution proposals.
• Collaborate with Sales to own functional components across APAC opportunities.
• Deliver impactful product and functional presentations to prospects.
• Participate in discovery sessions to map client needs to solutions.
• Coordinate with Product, Professional Services, and SMEs to align design with client needs.
• Contribute to PoCs and handle scripts for demos.
• Stay informed on market developments and relate them to platform workflows.
• Travel light to moderate as required for sales activity.
