The Government Technology Agency (GovTech) in Singapore is seeking a Deputy Manager / Manager, Technology, OPS Policy and Strategy to shape national road operations policy and drive innovation. You will work across road asset maintenance, traffic management and enforcement to ensure safe and efficient transport nationwide.

You will develop and implement policies, assess challenges, propose practical interventions and lead strategic transformation that strengthens GovTech’s road operations

Qualifications

• Curious, analytical and motivated individual with ability to turn complex issues into practical solutions.
• Knowledge in any discipline with at least 2 years of working experience.
• Relevant experience in policy, strategy, operations, programme management or a related field is a bonus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgement and evidence-based recommendations.
• Excellent writing, presentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a growth mindset and interest in innovation and technology.

Responsabilités

• Develop, review and implement policies for road asset maintenance, traffic management, enforcement and compliance.
• Assess emerging operational challenges and recommend practical interventions balancing operational effectiveness, public needs and organisational objectives.
• Review frameworks and processes to keep them relevant, effective and future-ready.
• Leverage technology, data, new operating models and global best practices to improve policy effectiveness, operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Drive strategic and transformation initiatives that strengthen road operations capabilities.
• Partner stakeholders across divisions to align policies, processes and operational priorities.
• Engage senior management, secure buy-in and represent the division in cross-functional workgroups and forums.
