Job summary

GVT Government Technology Agency in Singapore seeks a Deputy/Assistant Manager to shape policy and financing frameworks for the bus sector. You will formulate strategies for the expanding bus network, including the Bus Master Plan, and design contracting models for services and new mobility solutions.

The role requires strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work independently and in teams to support strategic transport initiatives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Economics, Engineering or Science/Social Science discipline.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think critically, write and present thoughts concisely.
• Team player who is adaptable and able to work independently.
• Knowledge or experience in Excel modelling, financial projections and data analytics will be an advantage.
• Medical declaration and/or further assessment may be required during shortlisting.

Responsibilities

• Develop policies and strategies for Singapore’s expanding bus network, including the Bus Master Plan.
• Design and develop contracting approaches for bus services and new mobility solutions.
• Conduct financial modelling and analysis to support policy decisions and safeguard long-term financial sustainability.
• Collaborate with government agencies and stakeholders to support strategic transport projects.
