NTU Singapore's National Centre for Advanced Integrated Photonics (NCAIP) invites a Research Fellow to advance integrated polaritonic devices and waveguides. You will perform advanced optical spectroscopy, real-space and Fourier-space imaging, and work with cryogenic tests to characterize devices.

The role emphasizes collaboration with device integration teams and external partners. You will design and test polaritonic components, analyze data, publish results, and contribute to IP disclosures

Competenze

• PhD in a related scientific discipline.
• Evidence of strong publication record in international journals.
• Hands-on experience with optical system design and advanced characterization techniques (laser-based and imaging).

Mansioni

• Design, fabricate, assemble, optimize and characterize integrated polaritonic devices and waveguides.
• Develop and operate optical spectroscopy setups including real-space/Fourier-space imaging and polarization-resolved spectroscopy.
• Investigate low-power and few-particle polaritonic effects and routes toward polaritonic logic or routing functions.
• Develop long-range polaritonic waveguiding platforms and integrate with single-photon detection.
• Collaborate with photonic device integration teams and CDPT partners for fabrication, testing and demos.
• Operate and maintain research labs with advanced microscopy and spectroscopy equipment.
• Perform data analysis and interpretations, prepare publications and participate in IP disclosures.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on joint research projects.
• Contribute to progress reports, meetings and future grant proposals.
