National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Fellow to lead the development of a miniaturized, on-chip polarimeter based on chiral 2D HOIP for full Stokes vector detection. The role covers optical simulation, cleanroom nanofabrication, device integration, optoelectronic testing, and ML-driven signal reconstruction.

The ideal candidate will focus on device engineering and computation, with independent material synthesis not required, and will join Prof Loh Kian Ping's team

Competenze

• PhD in a relevant field with strong nanophotonics background.
• Experience with metasurfaces and polarization optics.
• Hands-on cleanroom fabrication experience.

Mansioni

• Design and simulate sub-wavelength polarization-selective metasurfaces.
• Fabricate multi-pixel sensor arrays in a cleanroom.
• Characterize optoelectronic responses and test polarization states.
• Develop ML-based reconstruction of Stokes parameters.
