Job summary

NCS in Singapore is seeking an experienced PMO Lead to manage and mentor a team of PMO professionals, providing project financial, billing, governance and logistics support to delivery teams.

You will plan workloads, monitor resource utilization, guide process transitions and drive knowledge transfer, coordinating with onshore PMO leads and stakeholders across regions. The role demands 10+ years in project management and leadership of 5+ staff, with strong Microsoft 365 and BI tooling skills.

• Over 10 years of project management experience.
• Experience leading a team of 5+ staff and coaching them to deliver high service quality.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management within a matrix organization.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of PMO Professionals in providing project financial, billing, procurement, governance, administrative and logistics support for delivery teams.
• Plan, monitor and balance the workload of the team.
• Monitor resource utilization and performance of the team.
• Plan for transition of new processes and scope based on onshore PMO Lead requirements.
• Lead in Knowledge Transfer activities to ensure smooth transition of new processes and scope.
• Review processes and operations regularly to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and guidance.
• Manage internal stakeholders from different organization levels and regional offices, plus external vendors and clients.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and professional development within the PMO CoE team.

What you will be doing:

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft 365, specifically Excel, Excel-Pivot Table, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint.
• Experience in working with PowerAutomate and PowerBI will be an added advantage.
• Working experience of at least 10 years in project management.
• Experience in leading a team of more than 5 staff, and is able to efficiently lead, coach and supervise the staff within his/her team.
• Good leadership qualities, able to verbalize the PMO CoE mission to staff and motivate them to always keep high service quality.
• Able to work in a matrix organization.
• Able to multi-task, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
• Structured, organized, proactive, independent, self-motivated and strong team player.
• Possesses good interpersonal skills and can communicate well (both written and verbal) with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
• Possesses strong sense of ownership and tenacity.
• Possesses initiative and disposition with a strong commitment and orientation towards results and high-quality standards.
