Job summary

THE BEST STAR ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled plumbing technician to install, maintain and repair water supply, drainage and waste systems across residential and commercial sites.

You will travel to project sites, deliver materials, perform plumbing works, and support site reporting to the Director. Ideal candidates hold a plumbing-related diploma, have 3–5 years on-site experience, and can work nights or weekends when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or trade certificates in plumbing or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in construction/project sites.
• Safety supervision certification is advantageous.
• Depth knowledge in plumbing.
• Able to lift and handle heavy plumbing supplies and fixtures.
• Fluent in English, good writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs water supply, drainage, and waste systems.
• Travels to residential, commercial, or construction sites.
• Delivers materials and drives company transport to sites.
• Performs plumbing works, troubleshooting, and basic handyman duties.
• Reports progress to Director and updates site reports.
• Ensures safety compliance at worksites.
• Maintains quality control and cost-saving practices.
• Prepares site reports, designs, and drawings; handles paperwork.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Required to installs, maintains, and repairs water supply, drainage, and waste disposal piping systems.
• Need to work in residential, commercial, or construction sites.
• Responsible for driving company transport to deliver plumbing and sanitary materials, traveling to project sites (including pick-up and drop-off workers).
• Executing or assisting with plumbing works, troubleshooting, and general handyman duties.
• Update on projects progress and reporting to Director.
• Ensure safety compliance across the worksites.
• Maintaining quality control procedures and cost saving methods.
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings.
• Writing reports and do paperwork related to projects.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering / Project Management / Business Administration or relevant trade certificates in Plumbing.
• 3 - 5 years' experience in a construction environment or project-based work site.
• Certified Construction Site Safety Supervisor or building trade vocational certificates will be an advantage.
• Depth knowledge in plumbing field required.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy plumbing supplies and sanitary fixtures.
• Able to communicate fluently and write well in English.
• Must possess valid local driving licences, Class 3 & 4 for the driver position.
• With 1 to 2 years of professional driving in Singapore roads with clean driving records.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule (at nights, after office hours and weekends/PH, as needed)
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
