Job summary

YEW SENG HENG ENGINEERING PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Project Engineer to coordinate plumbing and sanitary construction projects, working with main contractors, consultants and suppliers to keep progress aligned.

You will manage schedules, review drawings, enforce safety, handle EOT/VO/claims, and ensure quality, within PUB codes; BIM Revit and Autodesk familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing plumbing and sanitary construction projects.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Valid Singapore Plumber License is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with PUB codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Experience with BIM Revit and Autodesk software is preferred.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to align project goals.
• Attend site walks and meetings; resolve issues promptly with all stakeholders.
• Manage project schedules, align with main contractor's master schedule, and handle delays.
• Monitor site progress to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality standards.
• Ensure Engineers and Supervisors follow the latest approved drawings.
• Oversee and manage all project drawings and documentation to ensure accuracy and proper implementation.
• Handle contract documents like Extension of Time (EOT), Variation Orders (VO), and claims.
• Prepare and submit site progress claims; verify subcontractors' claims for accuracy.
• Enforce safety rules and PPE requirements with site safety officers.
• Report to the Project Director and follow instructions for smooth project delivery.
• Maintain project records and provide regular progress and risk updates.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
