Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking an Associate Engineer (IAP / PLC) for East Singapore. You will integrate hardware and software in PLC/SCADA projects, from concept through design and programming, with client-facing responsibilities.

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic, 1-2 years PLC/SCADA exposure, and strong planning, QA, and documentation skills. Occasional site maintenance and travel within Singapore are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience or knowledge in PLC and SCADA.
• Good project management and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure and multi-task.
• Site maintenance and travel within Singapore is required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate hardware and software engineering work.
• Plan, execute and supervise integration work and perform QA checks.
• Manage changes to application programs and hardware deployment; document.
• Implement PLC/SCADA projects from concept to design and programming.
• Interface with SCADA and PLC programming; meet clients; prepare reports.

About the job Associate Engineer (IAP / PLC) East

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for integration and implementation of both hardware and software engineering work
• Carry out proper planning, execution and supervision of the integration work and do QA technical checks throughout the project execution
• Handle application programme change management, hardware deployment management and documentation
• Implementation of PLC/SCADA project from concept to design and programming
• Interface with SCADA and PLC programming
• Meeting with clients, doing reports and documentation
• Perform troubleshoot independently

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or related discipline
• 1-2 years of experience or some knowledge in PLC and SCADA
• Good project management and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure and can multi-task
• Site maintenance and travelling around SG for site maintenance is required
