Job summary

StarHub Ltd is seeking an experienced Platform Architect focused on cybersecurity architecture for its platform and managed services portfolio in Singapore. You will own current, transition, and target-state architectures and drive secure, reusable offerings with multi-tenant considerations.

The role involves defining guardrails, standards, and control baselines across networking, cloud, identity, data and APIs, while partnering with CISO and governance teams to translate risk into actionable

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field plus 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing multi-tenant, centrally managed platforms or managed security services at scale.
• Strong end-to-end architectural knowledge across networking, security, cloud and observability.
• Familiarity with firewalls, IPS/IDS, SASE/ZTNA, SD-WAN, NAC, WAF, EDR/XDR/MDR, SIEM and IAM/PAM.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, defence in depth, encryption, threat modelling and secure software development.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain current-state, transition-state and target-state cybersecurity architectures for platform and managed services.
• Design reusable, productised managed security offerings with multi-tenancy and high availability.
• Ensure security by default across all managed services including Wi‑Fi, LAN, SD‑WAN and cloud platforms.
• Define guardrails, reference architectures, standards and control baselines across domains.
• Translate policies and risk requirements into implementable architectures and remediation options.
• Lead architecture reviews, threat-modelling and design assurance across the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Platform Architects, Engineering and SOC to prioritise security capabilities.
• Specify non-functional requirements for security, availability, performance, recoverability and cost efficiency.
• Architect secure automation, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD, policy as code and automated compliance checks.
• Provide architecture artefacts and guidance to engineering and operations teams.
