Job summary

Tech Aalto Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an Operations Support Engineer (Software Engineering) to support production applications, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to engineering fixes and operational improvements.

The role blends technical support with code-reading and small engineering tasks within a software development team. You will ensure reliability and performance of cloud-based systems, collaborate with engineering, product and support teams, and develop scripts to automate recurring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field
• 2–5 years in technical operations, application support, software engineering or similar
• Experience supporting production apps, cloud platforms, or enterprise systems
• Strong troubleshooting across web apps, APIs, integrations, networking, or cloud infrastructure
• Comfort reading/modifying application code for debugging
• Hands-on scripting in JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js/Python/SQL

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for production applications, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems
• Investigate and resolve incidents using logs, monitoring tools, browser tooling, and diagnostics
• Troubleshoot issues across web applications, APIs, integrations, networking, and cloud infrastructure
• Read, understand, and modify application code to support troubleshooting and bug fixing
• Develop scripts or small utilities to automate recurring tasks and improve operational efficiency
• Implement and validate minor bug fixes or software changes under guidance and code review
• Take on development or engineering tickets when required and collaborate with software engineering
• Manage support tickets, communicate with users and stakeholders, drive incidents to resolution
• Participate in Agile and cross-functional product team workflows
• Balance operational support with engineering work based on priorities
