Job summary

StarHub Ltd. seeks a Platform Lead, Mobile Engineering to own the strategy, design, deployment, and operation of Private 4G/5G Mobile Core platforms for enterprise and industrial environments in Singapore.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team across architecture, platform engineering, and network operations, driving cloud-native 5G core, AI-enabled operations, security, and vendor management to ensure service excellence. This role requires strong leadership and deep telecom domain expertise.

Qualifications

Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
At least 12 years in telecommunications, mobile networks, or enterprise wireless solutions with at least 6 years in leadership positions.
Experience designing and operating: Private LTE networks, 5G Standalone networks, Mobile core platforms, Cloud-native network functions.
Experience with MEC, network slicing, Kubernetes/OpenShift, AI-driven network operations, and enterprise digital transformation.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture and design of Enterprise Private Core (4G/5G) and related platforms.
Oversee platform engineering, deployment, automation, and upgrades.
Manage 24x7 network operations and service assurance.
Drive cloud-native 5G core, AI-enabled operations, and security/compliance.
Vendor and ecosystem management with Nokia and partners.
