Job summary

StarHub Ltd seeks a Platform Lead, Mobile Engineering to own the Private Mobile Core strategy, architecture, and operations for 4G/5G networks. You will lead cross-functional teams spanning platform engineering, network operations, and security, driving cloud-native transformations and automation.

The role demands deep experience in mobile core platforms, MEC, network slicing, and AI-powered operations to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant enterprise private networks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years in telecommunications, mobile networks, or enterprise wireless solutions.
• At least 8 years in leadership positions.
• Experience designing and operating Private LTE networks, 5G SA, mobile core platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and own platform architecture for Private Mobile Core (4G/5G).
• Lead platform engineering and service delivery across build, deployment, automation, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee 24x7 network operations, service assurance, and incident/change management.
• Drive security/compliance in coordination with CISO and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Manage vendor ecosystem and partnerships with Nokia, HPE, Dell, Lenovo, and others.
