Job summary

SALT TALENT SEARCH PTE. LTD. invites a Platform Engineer to join the Singapore team to keep global trading ecosystem infrastructure running efficiently and to rethink operating models.

You will work across cloud and on-premise infrastructure, deployments, and observability, helping teams diagnose issues and keep critical applications up. Beyond maintenance, you will shape how Platform/Operations evolve, applying AI, automation, and agent tech to streamline processes and reduce manual work.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Linux/Windows, cloud infrastructure, networking, virtualization.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Terraform preferred.
• AWS is the main cloud environment; Azure experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade platform and operations infrastructure for efficient workloads.
• Implement AI-driven automation and agent technologies to reduce manual work.
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and improve observability across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Collaborate across teams to evolve Platform/Operations and deployment practices.

Our client is in the global trading ecosystem, with products, teams and infrastructure spread across regions and environments.

We're looking for a Platform Engineer to join their Singapore team to help keep that ecosystem running efficiently while also rethinking how they operate.

You'll work across cloud and on-premise infrastructure, deployments, troubleshooting, monitoring and observability , helping teams diagnose issues and keep critical applications running.

But we also want to change how some of this work gets done.

What you'll bring

You'll have a strong foundation in Linux/Windows, cloud infrastructure, networking, virtualisation and containerisation , with hands-on experience or understanding of Kubernetes and Terraform . AWS is the main cloud environment, with Azure also relevant.

You don't need to be an AI/ML engineer. What matters is that you're genuinely curious about AI, passionate about technology and always looking for a better way to solve a problem .

You'll also be comfortable troubleshooting, working across teams and getting stuck into problems where the answer isn't immediately obvious.
