Job summary

Shopee in Singapore is seeking a capable software engineer graduate to join the Marketplace Order Operations team. You will help realize business goals by building features for returns, refunds, and settlement workflows, and design distributed systems for high performance.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, QA, and Operations Engineers to deliver scalable backend services, with exposure to AI paradigms such as LLM tool calling and multi-agent frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, graduating between December 2026 and May 2027.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, C++, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Realizing business goals through implementing features for Shopee as a platform, including return and refund workflows.
• Designing and building distributed systems optimized for performance, availability, and user experience.
• Writing high-quality, clean, and maintainable code with engineering best practices (unit testing, version control, CI, automation, design patterns).
• Researching and executing projects to enhance system functionalities and shared middlewares.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impact.
