Job summary

Tangspac Consulting Group is seeking a Project Engineer for a large global food producer in Singapore. You will oversee plant projects from planning through execution, coordinating with Operations, Finance, Logistics, and RDQ on innovation, upgrades, capacity, and compliance.

You will ensure adherence to MI/FSSC/ISO/HSE guidelines and support audit readiness with strong process discipline and BD&E alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of industry best practices and plant operations.
• Proven experience in project management and inter‑company business coordination.
• Strong change management and business development capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate, negotiate, and communicate with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
• Highly action‑oriented with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and program management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project planning, scheduling, and milestone management.
• Provide technical oversight by reviewing blueprints, design drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Serve as the main communication link between internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Track project budgets, resources, materials, and equipment.
• Support Innovation/NPD commercialization and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Benchmark best practices and leverage world‑class equipment and supplier knowledge to enhance plant capabilities.
