Job summary

Tangspac Consulting Group, on behalf of a large global food producer, seeks a Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate plant projects from planning through execution, ensuring technical, safety, quality, and compliance standards are met.

You will interact with Operations, Finance, Logistics, and RDQ on innovation and capacity upgrades, while upholding MI/FSSC/ISO/HSE guidelines and supporting audit readiness through disciplined processes and BD&E alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in a food manufacturing plant.
• Strong knowledge of industry best practices and plant operations.
• Proven experience in project management and inter‑company business coordination.
• Strong change management and business development capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate, negotiate, and communicate with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
• Highly action‑oriented with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and program management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project planning, scheduling, and milestone management.
• Provide technical oversight by reviewing blueprints, design drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Serve as the main communication link between internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Track project budgets, resources, materials, and equipment.
• Support Innovation/NPD commercialization and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Benchmark best practices and leverage world‑class equipment and supplier knowledge to enhance plant capabilities.
