Job summary

Chevron is accepting online applications for a Plant Operator at Jurong Terminal, Singapore. You will operate and monitor blending and filling processes, handle polymer bales, and support the Thermal Oil Heater system.

You will collect samples, assist in logistics, and maintain safety standards. Required Diploma in Engineering or related discipline with 1–3 years of relevant experience; knowledge of DCS/HMI systems; able to work rotating shifts and physically fit.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related discipline required.
• 1–3 years of experience in lubricant blending, petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, or oil & gas operations.
• Working knowledge of DCS and HMI systems.
• Able to perform rotating shift work and withstand heights if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor blending and filling processes under supervision.
• Handle polymer bales and load onto the automatic bale feeding conveyor system.
• Perform additive decanting from drums into storage tanks.
• Support startup, shutdown and operation of Thermal Oil Heater system.
• Record operating parameters in plant log sheets and respond to alarms.
• Assist in troubleshooting deviations and off-spec blends.
• Collect process samples for labs and quality analysis.
• Support tank farms, vessel receipt, gauging, and inventory checks.
• Perform SAP transactions related to isotank loading and generate delivery docs.
• Raise maintenance work orders and report equipment abnormalities.
• Uphold safety, PTW, and LOTO procedures and participate in training.
