Job summary

Chevron Corporation in Singapore invites applications for a Plant Operator at Jurong Terminal. You will operate and monitor blending and filling processes, manage tank and logistics tasks, and support startup, shutdown, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, Chemical Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in a lubricant blending plant, petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, or oil & gas operations.
• Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Human Machine Interface (HMI).
• Able to perform rotating shift work.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights when required.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor VII blending and filling processes under Lead Operator guidance using Yokogawa DCS.
• Handle polymer bales and load onto automatic bale feeding conveyor system.
• Perform additive decanting from drums into storage tanks.
• Support startup, shutdown, and routine operation of Thermal Oil Heater system.
• Respond to process alarms and record operating parameters in plant logs.
