Job summary

Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Operations Technician to join our LNG terminal team in Singapore. You will perform routine field inspections, troubleshoot units, oversee unloading of chemicals, and operate the DCS to monitor the terminal's processes.

The role requires a NITEC in mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering or equivalent and at least 3 years in oil, gas, petrochem or utilities.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery or utilities.
• Experience in LNG operations or familiarity with cryogenic processes preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to issue permits to work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine field inspections and troubleshoot units.
• Oversee unloading of chemicals and utilities into receiving tanks.
• Operate the DCS to monitor terminal processes.
• Maintain shift logs and operational records.
• Respond to emergencies and support safety and pollution containment.
