Job summary

Chevron Oronite on Jurong Island, Singapore, is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Technician to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on fixed equipment, piping, and rotating equipment. The role involves data-driven integrity improvements, inspecting and repairing assets, and coordinating with vendors for field tasks.

The ideal candidate has a NITEC/Higher NITEC/ Diploma in mechanical engineering with 3+ years in refineries or petrochemicals and strong safety awareness, including

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years experience in refineries or petrochemical industry.
• Knowledge of fixed equipment & piping inspection, repair and installation, including welding inspection & NDT.
• High safety awareness and experience with Permit to Work system & JSRA preparation.
• Strong oral & written communication skills across all staff levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive & predictive maintenance as per asset integrity program.
• Analyze and improve asset integrity and maintenance effectiveness.
• Raise SAP work orders based on inspection findings; prepare repair procedures.
• Document and maintain equipment maintenance records in APM system.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for field inspections.
• Support production by addressing reliability issues of fixed equipment, piping and rotating equipment.
• Review and approve ITPs from contractors and endorse NDT QC packages.
