Job summary

TALENTS@WORK PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to monitor cargo space, coordinate shipments, and liaise with airlines and customers to ensure on-time delivery.

You will work in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment, handling RFQs, tender activities, and daily progress/profit reports with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and plan cargo space to maximize shipment and loading efficiency.
• Follow up on shipment status and keep customers and relevant stakeholders updated.
• Liaise with airlines on freight rates, tracking and other operational matters.
• Manage and review buying and selling rates with customers and carriers.
• Ensure shipments are completed and uplifted on time at agreed rates.
• Handle RFQs and tenders; coordinate with Sales on customer enquiries.

Salary: Up to $3,200/month

Working Location: Alps Avenue (Company transport provided from multiple MRT stations)

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and plan cargo space to maximize shipment and loading efficiency

• Ensure shipments are completed and uplifted on time at agreed rates

• Coordinate with the Sales team on customer enquiries and provide suitable logistics solutions
• Plan and manage bumped shipments for consolidation
• Make bookings with various carriers
• Coordinate with Customer Service and Warehouse teams to ensure timely shipment schedules
• Prepare progress and profit/loss reports for the team and stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics or a related field
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Good communication, collaboration and teamwork skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours

• Morning Shift
• Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
• Alternate Saturday: 9:00am - 1:00pm
• Night Shift
• Monday to Friday: 5:00pm - 1:30am
• Alternate Saturday/Sunday: 5:00pm - 9:00pm
