Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is assisting a construction client in Central Singapore to hire a Planning Engineer. The role focuses on developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans and schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of planning or scheduling experience in construction, and be able to start immediately or on short notice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of planning/scheduling experience in construction.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project plans, schedules, and timelines using industry-standard software.
• Monitor progress against baselines, prepare performance reports, and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify and assess the impact of project scope changes on timeline, budget, and resources.
• Adjust project plans to mitigate risks and variations.
• Collaborate with operations teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of events, variations, and issues for contractual management.

• Working Hours: 5 days, Office Hours
• Salary Package: Basic + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines using industry-standard software.
• Monitor project progress against baselines, prepare regular performance reports, and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify and assess the impact of project scope changes on timeline, budget, and resources.
• Proactively adjust and revise project plans and schedules to mitigate risks and address project variations.
• Collaborate closely with operations teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all project events, variations, and issues to support contractual and obligations management.

Job Requirements:

• At least Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project planning or scheduling role within the construction industry.
• High proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
