Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Planning Engineer for an Islandwide project in Singapore.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, with strong emphasis on tracking progress and managing schedule baselines. The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree and at least 3 years of planning/scheduling experience in construction, with immediate availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in planning/scheduling in construction.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update project plans, schedules, and timelines.
• Monitor progress against baselines and prepare performance reports.
• Assess impact of scope changes on timeline, budget and resources.
• Adjust plans to mitigate risks and variations.
• Collaborate with operations, clients and stakeholders for seamless execution.
• Maintain documentation of events, variations and issues for contractual management.

Our esteemed client in the Construction industry is seeking a Planning Engineer to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Planning Engineer
• Location: Islandwide
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
• Salary Package: Basic + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines using industry-standard software.
• Monitor project progress against baselines, prepare regular performance reports, and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify and assess the impact of project scope changes on timeline, budget, and resources.
• Proactively adjust and revise project plans and schedules to mitigate risks and address project variations.
• Collaborate closely with operations teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all project events, variations, and issues to support contractual and obligations management.

Job Requirements:

• At least Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project planning or scheduling role within the construction industry.
• High proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Able to start work immediately or in short notice.
