Job summary

Staffhub Group is seeking a Planning Engineer (Construction) in Singapore to lead master scheduling, resource planning and progress monitoring for residential and condominium projects.

You will prepare and maintain construction programmes, coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors, and ensure schedules align with authority requirements. Local experience and a Civil Engineering degree are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years local experience in private residential and condominium projects.
• Proficient in planning works and material schedules.
• Well-versed in sequence of works and authority requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage master schedule integrating WBS.
• Prepare schedule bar chart considering manpower, equipment, and materials availability.
• Develop and update resource availability and construction sequences.
• Inspect and monitor daily on-site work.
• Participate in schedule reviews, progress, coordination, constructability review meetings.
• Record weekly progress meetings with client, consultants and subcontractors.
• Liaise with managers and engineers to discuss progress and address issues.
• Develop construction programmes and project plans.

About the job Planning Engineer (Construction)

• Preparing and manage overall master schedule integrating work breakdown structure
• Preparing schedule bar chart plan considering all in puts (manpower, equipment and materials) availability, production and construction sequences
• Developing and update resources (manpower, equipment's and materials) availability, production and construction sequences
• Inspect and monitor daily the work happening on site
• Participate all meeting (ie. Schedule review meeting, progress meeting, coordination meeting, constructability review meeting and so on)
• Record / Document weekly progress meeting held with the client, consultants and sub-contractors
• Liaising with managers and engineers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise
• Developing contract and construction programmes and construction project plans
