MUN SIONG ENGINEERING LIMITED in Singapore is looking for a professional with experience in plant turnaround planning. The ideal candidate will develop detailed work packages and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of maintenance tasks.
Requirements include a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3–5 years of relevant experience in refinery or petrochemical environments. Experience with planning software like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is beneficial.
Develop detailed turnaround work packages, job plans, and schedules.
Review maintenance work scopes, engineering requirements, and inspection findings.
Conduct site walkdowns to verify job scope, access requirements, and resource needs.
Prepare manpower, equipment, material, and subcontractor requirements.
Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Inspection, Engineering, SHE, and Contractors during planning and execution phases.
Estimate labour hours, equipment requirements, and turnaround costs.
Develop task sequences and identify critical path activities.
Ensure all materials, tools, permits, and resources are available before execution.
Monitor turnaround progress and provide daily planning support during execution.
Track schedule performance, productivity, and work completion status.
Identify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities for optimization.
Prepare turnaround reports, KPIs, and post-turnaround lessons learned.
Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, quality standards, and client requirements.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of planning experience in refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or industrial plant maintenance.
Experience in plant turnaround/shutdown planning is preferred.
Planning software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project are added advantage
Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under tight schedules and turnaround environments.
