Job summary

LONG WEI CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING WORKS PTE. LTD. is seeking a focused Piping Supervisor to oversee daily piping installation, fabrication and maintenance at project sites in Singapore.

You will read piping drawings, coordinate with project engineers and subcontractors, and ensure work progresses safely and on schedule. This role demands at least 1 year of piping experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage manpower and site documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of piping fabrication, installation or maintenance experience.
• Experience with industrial piping (carbon steel and stainless) is preferred.
• Able to read piping drawings and technical documents.
• Strong leadership, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to work at multiple Singapore sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily piping installation, fabrication, maintenance and replacement works on project sites.
• Read and interpret piping drawings, isometrics, P&IDs and specs.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools and equipment to meet schedule.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, clients and other trades to resolve site issues.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress and productivity.
• Lead workers, coordinate with subcontractors and enforce safety procedures.
• Prepare daily reports, manpower records and progress updates.
• Assist with material take-off, site measurements and planning when required.

• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to ensure work progresses according to schedule.

• Monitor piping works to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, clients, and other trades to resolve site issues.

• Conduct site inspections and monitor work progress, workmanship, and productivity.

• Ensure workers comply with workplace safety procedures and the use of appropriate PPE.

• Prepare daily work reports, manpower records, progress updates, and other site documentation.

• Assist with material take-off, site measurements, and work planning when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in piping fabrication, installation, or maintenance works.

• Experience in industrial piping, carbon steel and stainless steel piping works is preferred.

• Able to read and understand piping drawings and technical documents.

• Good supervisory, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to lead workers and coordinate with subcontractors at project sites.

• Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and site work procedures.

• Willing to work at different project sites in Singapore.

• Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently.
