Qualifications

• Able to read P&ID and trace lines onboard vessels.
• Physically fit, able to climb scaffolding.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to verify accuracy and quality of pipe labels.

Supervision and Training

• Manage a team of labelers, providing guidance and training on proper pipe labelling procedures
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards

Planning and Organization

• Develop a comprehensive plan for labelling pipes based on project specifications and requirements
• Coordinate with client representatives and other stakeholders to integrate labelling schedules into overall project timeline

Quality Control

• Conduct regular inspections to verify the accuracy and quality of pipe labels
• Implement corrective actions when deviations from standards are identified

Documentation

• Maintain detailed records of pipe labeling activities, including dates, locations and label specifications
• Generate reports to update project management on progress and compliance

Material Management

• Ensure an adequate supply of labeling materials, such as markers and adhesive labels
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment

Communication

• Facilitate clear communication channels between the labeling team and other project stakeholders
• Address any labeling-related concerns or inquiries promptly
