Job summary

NUS Enterprise at Kent Ridge Campus seeks a seasoned engineer to lead the pilot-line semiconductor process development, including wafer bonding and MOCVD epitaxy, aiming to deliver industry-grade samples with traceability. You will define end-to-end process flows, optimise recipes, and drive yield and process-control initiatives across multiple modules.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in semiconductor process development, integration, or pilot-line scale-up.
• Hands-on wafer bonding, epitaxial growth (111-V and/or GaN), and supporting unit processes.
• Experience defining end-to-end process flows and transitioning technologies to pilot production.
• Strong background in yield engineering, SPC, process control, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience selecting and sustaining semiconductor process equipment and metrology tools.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Ability to operate in a pilot environment with evolving processes, tight timelines, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Excellent documentation and transfer-package preparation for industry sampling.

Responsibilities

• Define the pilot-line process architecture & roadmap.
• Develop, optimise, and lock process recipes for scale.
• Lead hands-on process development and optimisation across modules.
• Drive yield ramp plans and sustainment.
• Equipment strategy: selection, qualification, uptime.
• Coordinate with external foundries and suppliers for re-entry flows.
• Produce transfer package for industry sampling.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
