Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is seeking a Photo Equipment Associate Engineer to join the Photo Equipment Eng. I team.

This role supports daily manufacturing in a cleanroom, performing loading/unloading, inspections, and qualification tests while maintaining SPC data integrity. The position requires basic wafer fabrication knowledge, computer literacy, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts in a yellow-light environment, with opportunities to contribute to continuous

Qualifications

• 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Fresh School Leavers welcomed to apply.
• Basic English proficiency, able to read/write/communicate.
• Basic knowledge of wafer fabrication operations.
• Basic computer literacy.
• No color blindness.
• Good attitude, proactive, with integrity.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts (Day/Night, rotating every 4 months).
• Able to work in a yellow light environment.
• Able to handle production lots of ~5kg per pod.

Responsibilities

• Perform shift duty to support daily manufacturing in a cleanroom environment.
• Adhere to SOPs and OIs.
• Load/unload lots to tools; perform inspections and metrology.
• Take ownership of qualification tests on equipment.
• Maintain the integrity of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Ensure smooth flow of production lots between modules.
• Utilize CIM systems for operations.
• Liaise with personnel for wafer disposition.
• Highlight problems or abnormalities in equipment or lots.
• Ensure proper handover to the next shift.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety practices.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects.

We’re searching for a Photo Equipment Associate Engineer to be part of our Photo, Equipment Eng. I Department diverse team of talent.

What you will be working on

• Perform shift duty to support daily manufacturing operations in a cleanroom environment
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & Operating Instructions (OIs)
• Perform loading/unloading lot to tools, perform inspection/metrology measurements, point-to-point lot delivery using pushcart
• Take ownership and perform all necessary qualification tests on equipment
• Maintain the integrity of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Ensure a smooth flow of production lots from one module to another
• Utilize the appropriate functions in Computer Integrated Mfg. (CIM) systems
• Liaise with the appropriate personnel for proper disposition of wafers
• Highlight any problems or abnormalities in equipment or lots
• Ensure full and efficient passdown to the next shift
• Ensure good housekeeping and safety practice
• Lead or take part in continuous improvement projects

• 1 – 3 years manufacturing experience preferred
