Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is seeking a Photo Process Associate Engineer to join the Photo, Process Eng. IV department.

The role involves assisting engineers on production-line activities, monitoring SPC, and training new technicians in a vibrant semiconductor environment. The candidate should have a Diploma in a relevant engineering field and 1–2 years of front-end semiconductor experience, with English and Mandarin communication skills and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Diploma in microelectronics or related engineering field.
• 1–2 years in frontend semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
• Fresh diploma graduates welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, VBA, Tableau.
• Basic SPC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist process engineers in production-line activities to achieve operation goals.
• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support production lines.
• Monitor and sustain SPC to ensure product quality.
• Mentor and support OJT for new technicians/associate engineers.
• Assist in project qualification work and follow-up on line issues.
• Collect and review data on defects and tool faults; dispose products per procedure.

We're searching for a Photo Process Associate Engineer to be part of our Photo, Process Eng. IV Department diverse team of talent.

What you will be working on

• To assist the process engineers in production line related activities to achieve operation goals
• Perform shift duties (12 hours) to support production line related to Photo to ensure process integrity of tools for production
• Monitor and sustain SPC (fine tuning of processes) to ensure quality of products meet requirements
• Assist new Technician, Associate Engineers on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy
• Assist Engineers on project qualification lot follow-up and support excursion or line related issues.
• Obtains data of products affected by tool faults & dispose products according to procedure within expected time
• Obtains data of products exceed defects warning limits and dispose products according to procedure; Ensure suspected tool recover to baseline defects performance before release for production run.
• Obtains, review and analysis defect and WAT data for products as per procedure
• Provide proper and accurate pass down of line issues, outstanding tasks and document properly. Able to take over pass down and follow up on outstanding tasks diligently
• Set-up metrology recipes in respective metrology tools and able to perform regular house-keeping
• Ensure and follow good housekeeping and job safety practices when work in office and in fab area
• Communicate with relevant parties during shift works and Escalate in time at situation defined as per sop defined
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production area, ensuring good safety practice and also safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module
• Participate in Transform Platform

More about you

• Diploma in Microelectronics, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Chemical engineering, Chemistry & Physics
• 1-2 years' experience in front end semiconductor manufacturing environment preferred
• Fresh diploma graduates with keen interest are welcome to apply
• Basic theory/knowledge, which should include at least two of the following
• Wafer Fabrication Technology
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, VBA, Tableau
• Basic statistical, SPC knowledge
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift (day/night) and work under pressure
• Able to work in clean room environment
• Able to work overtime (day/night) during off-days when needed
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Able to communicate in English & Mandarin
