Zusammenfassung

NHG Health in Singapore is seeking a phlebotomy assistant to perform venepuncture in inpatient settings at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, NCID, and ICH. You will support process improvements and HIV screening interviews, contributing to safer blood collection and efficient workflows.

No prior experience is required as training is provided. The role requires independence, teamwork and good communication, with two rotating shifts that include weekends and public holidays.

Jobbeschreibung

• You will perform blood-taking procedures (venepuncture) to collect blood specimens for laboratory investigations at theinpatient setting (mainly adult & geriatric)in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) and Integrated Care Hub (ICH).
• You will also support sectional initiatives to review and improve work processes to achieve organisational goals.
• You will also conduct HIV screen interviews for patients.
• You will also be expected to support the Section Leader in other operational and administrative matters.

Requirements

• Have a keen interest in blood-taking (venepuncture)
• No experience needed as training will be provided
• Able to work independently and can be a team player
• Possess good communication skills
• Able to work 2 rotating-shifts which includesweekends and public holidays. Working hours are as follows (based on roster pattern) :
  • 7am - 4pm
  • 8am - 5pm
  • 3pm - 9.30pm (PM shift)

Please note that this role is a full time position. At this point in time, we do not offer clinical placement for live blood draws toward achieving the certificate of venipuncture.
Locum positions for candidates experienced in phlebotomy (8am - 2pm / 6hrs, 5 days a week Mon-Fri) are available as well.
