Job summary

Reolink in Singapore is seeking an AI Algorithms Engineer (PhD Only) to develop and optimize ML/DL algorithms for surveillance applications. You will work with Python and C/C++, leveraging state-of-the-art techniques and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and MXNet.

A PhD in a related field is required to join the team. The role is based at the office near Kaki Bukit, with relocation near Tai Seng MRT planned for mid-August 2026.

Qualifications

• PhD holder in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Pattern Recognition, AI, Automatic Control, Operations Research, Biology, Physics/Quantum Computing, Neuroscience, Statistics or related field.
• Familiar with common machine learning and deep learning algorithms and latest SOTA implementations.
• Strong programming in Python, C/C++, solid mathematical/statistical foundations.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as Caffe, PyTorch, TensorFlow, MXNet.
• Experience with CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformer, ViT and ability to improve models.
• Experience with neural network design, tuning and optimization is a plus.
• Experience with model compression and deployment on NPU/GPU/DSP/ARM and CPU/GPU.
• Strong problem solving, independent research, and teamwork are valued.

Responsibilities

• Algorithm Development: develop and optimize ML/DL algorithms to solve business problems.
• Model Training and Evaluation: construct and train AI models; evaluate and improve performance.
• Data Analysis and Preprocessing: data collection, cleaning, feature engineering, guide data labeling.
• Collaboration and Deployment: integrate models into business systems and drive product improvements.
• Research and Innovations: stay updated with AI/ML advances; explore new technologies to add market value.
• Documentation and Reporting: document experiments and communicate results to stakeholders.
