Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, AI, Robotics, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of hands-on industry experience in Computer Vision, ML, or DL.
• Strong expertise in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch and/or TensorFlow).
• Experience with OpenCV, NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn and broader Python ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of CV techniques (CNNs, ViT, YOLO, Mask R-CNN, CLIP, SAM).
• Proven deployment of AI/ML models into production and ML lifecycle expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of advanced CV and ML solutions.
• Define architectures, experiments, evaluation methodologies, and production readiness standards.
• Develop, train, fine-tune, and optimise models for CV tasks (detection, classification, segmentation, OCR).
• Own end-to-end ML lifecycle from data prep to monitoring and iteration.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across AI/CV initiatives.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and DevOps to deliver production-ready AI capabilities.
