Job summary

ENVIRODYNAMICS SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing activities at our Singapore sites.

The role focuses on replenishing medications, packing prescriptions, counselling patients, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a busy community pharmacy environment. Candidates with a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences or CPTC are welcome; prior experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Min. Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences / CPTC qualification.
• Experience as Pharmacy Technician is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
• Good team spirit and self-motivation required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medications and supplies are replenished regularly to maintain smooth dispensing processes.
• Pack and dispense prescriptions according to guidelines and standards.
• Provide counselling to patients according to good dispensing practices.
• Alert pharmacists or prescribers when customers require assistance.
• Report issues, patient concerns or complaints to supervisors promptly.
• Guide patients on medication intake and usage.
• Maintain pharmacy equipment and cleanliness; monitor stock and expiry dates.

Work location: West (Polyclinic-based) or Central (Hospital-based)

Work hours: 5.5 days work week (Mon – Fri and half Sat), office hours

Responsibilities:

• Ensure medications and supplies are replenished regularly to maintain smooth dispensing processes.
• Pack and dispense prescriptions according to professional guidelines and standards.
• Provide counselling to patients in accordance with good dispensing protocols.
• Understand basic medications and promptly alert pharmacists or prescribers when customers require assistance.
• Report issues, patient concerns, or complaints to supervisors or pharmacists in a timely manner.
• Offer guidance to patients for their medication intake.
• Conduct routine checks and ensure proper functioning of pharmacy equipment (e.g., weighing machines, computers, printers).
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the pharmacy, work areas, and storage rooms.
• Ensure dispensing counters are stocked up with consumables daily.
• Monitor stock levels of medicines, leaflets, and other pharmacy supplies, and replenish as required.
• Regularly check expiry dates and condition of all pharmacy stock.

Key Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Graduates of the Certified Pharmacy Technician Course (CPTC)
• Prior work experience as a Pharmacy Technician would be advantageous but not necessary
• Possess excellent customer service skills and has good interpersonal skills
• Good team player and self-motivated.
