Job summary

StaffKing Pte Ltd in Singapore is hiring an Operations Pharmacist to lead daily pharmacy operations and drive service excellence at Jurong East/Clementi. You will oversee staff, ensure safe medication handling, and spearhead improvement initiatives to enhance quality and patient experience.

Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, full registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council, and active practice.

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
Full registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council and in active practice.

Responsibilities

Lead daily pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate and timely medication preparation and distribution.
Direct and deploy Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Assistants and locum staff.
Manage workflow, manpower allocation, workload priorities and operational resources.
Coach staff, provide feedback and support training and competency development.
Monitor performance and address operational issues promptly.
Lead initiatives to improve productivity, quality, medication safety, turnaround time and cost efficiency.
Identify bottlenecks using data, observation and staff feedback.
Redesign workflows, SOPs, work instructions and operational processes.
Implement technology, automation, dashboards and other improvement solutions.
Measure outcomes and ensure improvements are sustainable.
Ensure compliance with medication safety, regulatory and quality requirements.
Support audits, incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational documentation.
Oversee inventory availability, accuracy, stock takes and resource utilisation.
Reduce wastage, overstocking, stock-outs and operational inefficiencies.
Lead the resolution of customer complaints and service issues.
Identify opportunities to improve the patient/customer experience.
Undertake ad hoc duties and special assignments as directed by management.
Provide cross-functional support to other teams and departments as required.
Assist with urgent operational requirements, projects, and initiatives to support business objectives.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
