Job summary

Ang Mo Kio - Thye Hua Kwan Hospital seeks a seasoned Pharmacy Manager to lead inpatient and retail pharmacy services, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective care. You will oversee pharmacists, technicians and retail staff while driving clinical quality and business growth.

You will manage budgeting, inventory, policy development and regulatory readiness, working with multidisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of patient safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people development experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
• Track record of regulatory inspections or audits and licensing compliance.
• Experience in retail pharmacy operations and new service development.
• Strong budgeting, cost control and inventory management skills.
• Ability to lead quality improvement projects and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops a team of pharmacists, technicians, assistants and retail staff to meet patient safety and operational targets.
• Ensures compliance with Healthcare Services Act, Medicines Act and licensing requirements; prepares for MOH/HSA inspections.
• Oversees professional pharmacy services including medication reconciliation, reviews and patient education.
• Drives medication safety, quality assurance and cost-effective procurement and stock management.
• Leads development of new services and retail expansion while maintaining financial performance.
