Job summary

Ang Mo Kio- Thye Hua Kwan Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead inpatient and retail pharmacy services with a view to safe, compliant and cost-efficient patient care. The role reports to the Director, Medical Services and blends clinical leadership with operational and commercial oversight.

You will guide Pharmacists, Technicians, Pharmacy Assistants and Retail staff, drive quality improvement, new service development and business growth across hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and registered pharmacist status.
• 10–12 years of relevant experience with supervisory and clinical exposure.
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• Experience leading regulatory inspections or audits.
• Strong leadership, commercial acumen and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Leads, motivates and develops a team of pharmacists, technicians, assistants and retail staff.
• Ensures compliance with Healthcare acts, licensing and quality standards.
• Oversees professional services including medication reconciliation and patient education.
• Drives medication safety, quality assurance and system-wide improvement.
• Manages hospital formulary, drug utilisation reviews and budgeting.
• Develops retail pharmacy offerings, partnerships and revenue growth.
