Job summary

Woodlands Health in Singapore seeks a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in daily operations. You will assist in processing medication orders for inpatient and outpatient dispensing, manage stock, and ensure FEFO inventory control, while delivering courteous patient service.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O/N Levels.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Good customer service skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing of medication orders for inpatient and outpatient dispensing.
• Perform cashier and billing functions.
• Adhere to Good Dispensing Practice policies and procedures.
• Advise on products kept in pharmacy.
• Handle telephone and walk-in enquiries from patients and hospital staff.
• Assist in reception and patient registration in the pharmacy areas.
• Support hospital activities and quality customer service.
• Receive, unpack and check stocks with documents; ensure accuracy.
• Arrange stocks in FEFO order and perform stock receipts/issuances.
• Assist in stocktakes and inventory monitoring.
• Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy work areas and prep for daily operations.
