Job summary

WellAway e-Pharmacy in Singapore is hiring a pharmacist to manage day-to-day operations, leading a team of technicians and assistants. The pharmacist will provide medication‑related information to prescribers and patients, ensuring safe and efficient dispensing.

Subject to interest and qualifications, opportunities exist for Executive/Managerial tracks to manage other portfolios such as Operations, Business Development, Marketing and IT Project Management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmacy and registration with Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Minimum 2 years working experience.
• Entrepreneurial and inquisitive mindset.
• Proficient with modern technology.

• Comfortable leading a team independently and confidently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing of prescriptions or medication orders.
• Provide patient counselling and education.

• Train and mentor interns as needed.
• Handle Controlled Drugs with proper filing and licensing.

The role we are hiring for

We are seeking a pharmacist to manage WellAway’s day-to-day operations. The candidate will be leading a team of pharmacy technicians and assistants to ensure medications are dispensed in a safe and efficient manner. As a pharmacist, the candidate is also responsible to provide medication-related information to prescribers and patients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing of prescriptions or medication orders
• Provide patient counselling and education
• Lead and guide pharmacy technician(s)
• Ongoing review and fine-tuning of existing workflows and platform to align and optimize standards and guidelines to best practices
• Work with vendors and partners to ensure the systems, workflow and documentation are in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and standards
• Training and mentoring interns as needed.
• Picking, handling and appropriate control of Controlled Drugs
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of Controlled Drugs as per regulatory and licensing requirements.
• Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Degree in Pharmacy and registered with Singapore Pharmacy Council
• Minimum 2 years working experience
• Entrepreneurial and has an inquisitive mind
• Proficient in the use of modern technology
