Job summary

WellAway is seeking a pharmacist to manage day-to-day operations in Singapore, leading a team of pharmacy technicians and assistants to ensure medications are dispensed safely and efficiently for patients and prescribers.

You will provide medication information, review workflows, coordinate with vendors, mentor interns, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while delivering high-quality digital-first pharmacy services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmacy and registered with Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Minimum 2 years working experience.
• Entrepreneurial and inquisitive mind.
• Proficient in modern technology.

• Comfortable leading a team independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing of prescriptions or medication orders
• Provide patient counselling and education
• Lead and guide pharmacy technician(s)
• Ongoing review and fine-tuning of workflows and platform to align and optimize standards and guidelines to best practices
• Work with vendors and partners to ensure the systems, workflow and documentation are in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and standards
• Training and mentoring interns as needed
• Picking, handling and appropriate control of Controlled Drugs
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of Controlled Drugs as per regulatory and licensing requirements
• Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management

About the role

The candidate will be leading a team of pharmacy technicians and assistants to ensure medications are dispensed in a safe and efficient manner. As a pharmacist, the candidate is also responsible to provide medication-related information to prescribers and patients.
