Job summary

SciMed Asia is seeking a technically oriented sales specialist to manage and grow accounts within Singapore’s pharma and private industries. You will own the full end‑to‑end sales cycle from requirement gathering to demos, negotiations, and post‑sales support.

Focus is on laboratory capital‑equipment project sales, building long‑term relationships, and delivering customer value while maintaining accurate CRM records and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical/Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science or other science‑related disciplines.
• 2–4 years relevant industry sales experience, with 3–5 years technical background; proven sales track record for capital‑equipment solutions would be a plus.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; dynamic, self‑driven, resourceful and hands‑on team player.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Proactive learning attitude and positive work mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver sales & marketing plans for pharma, biotech and private‑industry territories to hit sales targets and expand market reach; source new business via networking, cold‑calling, email and social prospecting.
• Nurture long‑term trust‑based stakeholder relationships; manage and grow existing accounts to boost revenue and customer satisfaction, resolve customer enquiries and address business objections/account risks.
• Deliver customer‑facing product demonstrations; track competitor intelligence including product launches, strategies, partnerships and key stakeholder mapping.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to drive client satisfaction and feed customer feedback for internal improvement.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, update customer databases and submit timely sales performance reports to management.
